The second film, Guerrilla , a little less energetic and less entertaining story about Guevara attempts, a revolution in Bolivia under Fidel Castro has run the commands. This film takes shown shown in the first film of Guevara comment to guerrilla fighters in the interview about his battles with a contingent of guerrillas in the jungles of Cuba, and sets them in a play that explores the life of resistance fighters and the horrors they go through, to hopefully lead to a revolution. Unless IFC Sticks plan to the rumors, the first movie, thoughts, because release in theaters this fall, it will win plenty of Oscar buzz and enter the second an extra boost before its release later in 2009. Long live the revolution - ! I recently went from an almost 5 hours Screening Session of back-to-back screenings of Steven Soderbergh's two films on Argentine revolutionary Che Guevara. It was a grueling experience, but have one that I am glad been through - just because the chance these two impressive films back-to-back in the cinemas was a once-in - a-lifetime chance anyway. Rather than a typical review, but I just want to put my thoughts, because there was so much going on in my mind as I watched all 262 minutes of Che and I will mention only as much as I can. The two films are a meticulously intimate portrait of Che Guevara , which includes three of his most memorable events in his life - the Cuban revolution in 1956, his trip to the United Nations, and his final revolutionary struggle in Bolivia.
